Lake “Heimstetten” and its beer garden

Lake “Heimstetten”, also called “Fidschi” by local people, is a popular swimming lake and local recreation area in the east of Munich. It is an excavated lake which is up to 10 meters deep and  covers an area of 11 hectare with a very big beach area where you can relax or stroll around.

Apart from the playing grounds and beaches for people of all ages, the beer garden is the perfect spot to have a cosy chat.

Shopping mall “Räter”

Visit “Räter” shopping mall REZ in Heimstetten, with its 50 shops, service providers and restaurants and enjoy individuality, proximity and competence. Apart from the many shops, there are numerous small and big  festivities which provide cultural highlights all over the year.

Climbing gym “High-East”

Visit one of Germany’s biggest climbing gyms in Heimstetten. The inside climbing wall is 18 meters high while the outside climbing wall is 15 meters high. Both offer numerous options – to beginners and professionals. A boulder site and a bistro put the finishing touch to the whole facility.

Golf course Aschheim

Golf course Aschheim with its huge driving range offers everything the heart desires: undulating courses which vary in length from 4.900 to 6.020 meters, four different tee boxes and mature tree stands and natural habitats.Therefore it was awarded the “Golf und Natur Zertifikat Gold” (golden golf and nature certificate) in 2015.

Furthermore, this course offers a spectacular view on the skyline of Munich.

Roberto Beach and water ski park

Come and enjoy warm temperatures and a Caribbean atmosphere. In Munich’s biggest and most beautiful beach club “Roberto Beach” right at the Aschheimer  lake, an indoor and outdoor area with wonderful white beaches are awaiting you.

The water ski park in Aschheim has two different facilities. There are numerous features so that visitors can enjoy different sports – water skiing, wake boarding, knee boarding and more. There is a  beach and terrace as well which allow guests to watch the sportsmen/-women and relax. In the fun park there are 13 obstacle-features, which ensure a lot of extra fun.
